Els de Wind has over 37 years of experience as an attorney at large lawfirms, since 1998 as a partner. She advises and litigates for national and international clients, particularly in cases at the intersection of labor law and corporate law. Her specializations include cross-border matters, (European) co-determination, reorganizations, employment law in M&A, privacy in the workplace (GDPR), AI, the New World of Work, Sustainability (ESG), governance and compliance, remuneration, appointment and dismissal of directors and managers, collective labor law and partnership issues/team transfers. She is a trusted advisor to clients. Els speaks nationally and internationally, produces podcasts and blogs, and writes articles and book contributions. She represented the Netherlands for many years on the board of the European Employers Association (EELA) and was its Chair from 2009 through 2011. At the International Bar Association (IBA) she was a member of the Employment and Industrial Relations Committee for many years and Co-Chair of the committee in 2012 and 2013. She then served as a member of the Council of the IBA Global Employment Institute and as its Co-Chair in 2020 and 2021.
